Rather than rise above its Hill Country setting, this home settles into the landscape, prioritizing privacy, connection to nature, and the experience of the site over a singular view.

Nestled deep within a large, wooded lot, the home was designed in close collaboration with the landscape architect to create a seamless relationship between architecture and its natural surroundings. An unconventional orientation places the pool and courtyard toward the access road while shifting the entry deeper into the property, allowing the house to unfold gradually across the site. The result is a home where building and landscape continually trade focus, creating moments of discovery, privacy, and connection throughout.
